Why Tru Vu ?
- As a sailor, you would be well aware that once you are “down below” in a sailing vessel, existing inclinometers only provide you with nothing more than a mathematical reading.
- Since there is no horizon, and consequently no horizontal reference points, it becomes impossible to “visualise” the list of the vessel. You are only seeing “water” through one port-hole and sky through the opposite one, if the existing type of inclinometer shows 25o you have to try to imagine what 25o actually looks like. For many people, pendulum style inclinometers even appear to be pointing in the wrong direction.
